Laundry is a chore that you either love, or you hate. Personally, I hate it. So while I’m in my laundry room, I would rather have beautiful decorations on my wall then stare at plain boring walls. The sign that is depicted in this article can be found in the Ballard designs catalog. Of course, you will spend close to $130 on this sign if you wish to purchase it… or you can make your own for a whole lot cheaper!
In order to make this sign you simply need a piece of wood, some brown paint, and alphabet stencils of various sizes along with number stencils. For the punctuation in this laundry room sign you either have the option of purchasing a stencil to use for that or free handing it with a small paint brush.
Paint the entire piece of wood in the brown paint and allow it to dry. Once the brown paint has dried, stencil on the words found on the graphic in this article. Allow all the paint to dry and remove the stencils.
Of course, you need a way to hang this on your wall. You can either use a piece of wire and two small screws, or you can purchase clawed teeth and attach those to the back of the laundry room sign.
