Can you believe that spring is almost here? It’s almost time to open the windows, enjoying the cool breeze and watch the flowers bloom. If you have little children at home, or you are a teacher, then this March craft is perfect for you! It is also a craft that parents will enjoy for many years to come because it’s made out of their child’s hand print. After all, we all heard the saying “April showers bring May flowers!” What a perfect time of the year to make this adorable rainbow.
1) Cut a cloud out of white construction paper.
2) Have your child or children cut a red strip, a orange strip, a yellow strip, a green strip, a blue strip, a violet strip, and a purple strip. Obviously, all the colors of the rainbow.
3) Have your child or children glue the color-coded strips onto the cloud so that they hang below the cloud.
4) Decorate the white cloud by having your child or children glue cotton balls all over the top of the cloud and on the top of the colored strips include in a previous step.
Children will enjoy making this March craft and will smile from ear to ear when you display it. This makes a cute addition to any refrigerator during the month of March.
